ATLANTA — These first-graders are proving that reading is fun and hip.
The girls at Wesley International Academy in Atlanta danced and sang to their own version of the 2011 hit "Betcha Can't Do It Like Me" called "Betcha Can Read Like Me."
The students' teacher, Mrs. Trammell, says the song and dance is "is a motivational/educational song to help KEEP kids on the track of learning AND to also help them get fit and HAVE FUN!!!"
This is not the first time the students danced to their own song. In December, the girls whipped and 'Nae Nae-d' to encourage other children to read.
