Atlanta Braves collecting donations, supplies for Tennessee tornado victims

The Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Braves Foundation are stepping up to help Braves country affected by the devastating tornadoes that hit Tennessee.

The Braves will be collecting donated items, which can be dropped off at Truist Park. The collection bins are located at the clubhouse store and executive offices at the Battery.

These are the needed items that fans can donate. All items will be delivered to the Community Resource Center Nashville.

  • Baby food
  • Baby and toddler clothes
  • Batteries
  • Formula
  • Underwear
  • Bras
  • Gloves
  • Trash bags
  • Box cutters
  • Bleach
  • Personal hygiene items

The Braves are also supporting the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Fans can donate to “Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund Activated” at the CFMT website here.

Right now, recovery and cleanup efforts continue in Davidson, Wilson and Putnam counties in Tennessee. An EF-3 tornado touched down in Nashville and tore through neighboring Donelson, Mt. Juliet and Lebanon.

An EF-4 tornado touched down 80 miles east of Nashville in Cookeville. At least 24 people were killed in the storms.
