• 'Aquairium' sign on I-75/85 replaced

ATLANTA - Crews quickly got to work to fix a misspelled sign on the downtown connector.

The Williams Street exit sign read "Ga Dome/Aquairium."

The Georgia Department of Transportation told Channel 2 Action News Wednesday afternoon it had contacted the contractor to fix the sign.

A southbound lane was closed late Wednesday night to make the fix.

This is the second recent misspelled sign for GDOT. The department had to replace a sign in Gwinnett County on Highway 316 that was missing the second “n” in Gwinnett.
