3 teens charged in Peachtree City Walmart carjacking

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — Three teens have been arrested and charged in a carjacking that turned into a police chase Saturday afternoon.

Police said the suspects carjacked a woman at gunpoint in a Peachtree City Walmart parking lot.

Police caught one of the suspects, Zaviaire Baitley, of Atlanta, after he crashed into another car on Interstate 285 in southwest Atlanta.

Baitley has been charged with participation in a criminal street gang.

Palmetto residents Nathan Gullatte and Demetrious Watson have been charged with armed robbery, hijacking a motor vehicle and participation in a criminal street gang.

The suspects, all age 16, are being held at the Regional Youth Detention Center.
