• 2 teens arrested in murder of man trying to sell iPhone


    CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - Police said two Riverdale teens have been arrested in connection with the murder of a 25-year-old Lithonia man who was trying to sell them his iPhone.

    Clayton County police said Jevon Nathan Freeman was shot about 6 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 85.

    He was trying to sell an iPhone 5 he had listed for sale on Craigslist.

    Police said Terrance Justin Dent, 18, of Riverdale shot Freeman, who died at the scene. Dent reportedly admitted to shooting Freeman, then giving the gun to his 17-year-old friend. The teen was charged with possession of a weapon by a minor.

    Police said Dent was charged with murder, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime, tampering with evidence and furnishing a pistol to a minor.
