GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - A man was repeatedly stabbed Thursday morning by a friend in a Norcross area home, according to Gwinnett County police.
Police say the victim, an Asian male in his mid 30s, might have been stabbed as many as 22 times.
The attack was reported inside a home on the 6400 block of Sage Street. When officers arrived they found the victim standing near a car covered in blood.
Witnesses said they saw the naked victim running into the street, asking for help.
According to police, the victim told officers his roommate Joseph Dillinger, 36, had stabbed him inside their home.
Officers located Dillinger sitting on the porch of the home suffering from injuries police say seemed superficial.
Police say the victim was alive when he was taken to the hospital.
Investigators are expected to interview Dillinger in the stabbing this afternoon. Dillinger is charged with aggravated assault.
