• 2 dead in fiery multi-car crash in Cobb County

    COBB COUNTY, Ga. - Cobb County police worked late into the evening Thursday looking for the cause of a fiery crash that killed two people on Interstate 75.

    Five cars and two tractor trailers collided on I-75 N near Wade Green Road.

    Two other people were airlifted to a local hospital.

    Lanes were closed for several hours causing massive backups.

    Police identified the victims killed as 47-year old Gregory Millsaps of Marietta and 71-year-old Barbara Phenicie.

    Officials are still investigating.
