DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County Fire officials say one person died after a wreck involving two cars late Sunday night.
DeKalb Fire Capt. Eric Jackson told Channel 2 Action News that one vehicle was parked in a driveway in the 3000 block of Linecrest Road when another vehicle crashed into it, hitting the garage-side of the house.
We saw a white car in the woods nearby, on the side of the house. That car is believed to have had three people inside at the time of the wreck, Jackson said.
Jackson said the passenger was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital where they later died.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, according to authorities.
