1 killed, 1 hurt in DeKalb sports bar shooting

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Police are trying to sort out a shooting at a sports bar that killed a man and injured a woman early Sunday.

The shooting happened around 3 a.m. at Scores All-Star Sports Bar & Video Lounge on Wesley Chapel Road in Decatur.

A witness told Channel 2’s Steve Gehlbach that a fight inside led up to the shooting in the parking lot.

The witness said she saw two brothers get into an argument on the dance floor with another group of men. One threatened to get a gun from his car. When security kicked them out, the fight moved to the parking lot.  The witness said the younger brother was fatally shot.

Police said a woman, who wasn't involved in the fight, was also shot and she is suffering non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said they found multiple shell casings from one type of gun and one from a second gun. So, there may have been more than one shooter. Police have not found the guns or arrested any suspects.

A woman who lives in an apartment nearby said she heard many gunshots.

"I heard like 10 shots and I didn't know what it was. I actually thought it was in my neighborhood," said Jessica Brown.

One person who was inside the bar during the shooting believes the group who was doing the shooting took off in a truck. Police have not yet released a description of the vehicle or people they're looking for. Their investigation is ongoing.
