• 2 brothers arrested in death of 50-year-old man in Atlanta

    ATLANTA (AP) - Police say teenage brothers sought in the fatal shooting at an Atlanta gas station have turned themselves in.

    Local news outlets report the brothers, ages 15 and 16, surrendered to police Sunday.

    They were wanted in the death of Anthony Brooks, who was shot Thursday night after an alleged confrontation about recent carjackings.

    Police Officer Kim Jones says police were called to the shooting scene about 8:45 p.m. Brooks was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
