• 10 Accused Of Underage Drinking At Party

    FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. - Officials with the Fayetteville Police Department said 10 people were arrested for underage possession of alcohol.

    Police said officers received a call at 2 a.m. Thursday from someone at the Swan Brook Apartments who complained of a loud party.

    Upon arrival, officers said they found several people inside and outside the party. Officers issued Breathalyzer tests to each of the party goers and 10 tested positive for alcohol consumption, police said.

    Police said 10 people between the ages of 18 and 20 were arrested and charged with underage consumption of alcohol.

    All were taken to the Fayette County Jail.
