1 killed in fiery I-85 crash

TROUP COUNTY, Ga. — Interstate 85 was blocked for hours Thursday morning after a fiery tractor-trailer crash in Troup County.

The Troup County Sheriff's Office confirmed that at least one driver was killed in the crash involving two tractor-trailers and a car.

The crash happened around 7 a.m. between mile markers 14 and 18 in the southbound lanes.

The road remained closed as of 11:30 a.m. and is expected to remain closed for several more hours.
