Things 2 Do

Watch ‘Black Panther,’ ‘Home Alone,’ ‘Harry Potter’ with orchestra playing musical score live

You’ve seen “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi,” “Home Alone” and “Black Panther,” but you’ve never seen them quite like this.

Experience the hit movies at Movies in Concert with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performing the musical scores live during each film.

Head to Atlanta Symphony Hall on Oct. 1 and 2 to see “Black Panther” come to life on a 40-foot screen with the ASO playing the music in the film. Other offerings include Tim Burton’s “Nightmare Before Christmas” on Oct. 29 and 30 and “Home Alone” on Nov. 26 and 27. Next year, the ASO will showcase “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” on Feb. 18 and 19 and “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi” on May 6 and 7.

Now you can relive the excitement of T’Challa becoming king and battling Killmonger all while the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performs Ludwig Göransson’s Oscar- and Grammy-winning score live to picture, a release about the concerts noted.

Tickets start at $39.
