Things 2 Do

Celebrate summer with carnival games, movies on the roof

ATLANTA -- Challenge your friends to skee ball, slide down the three-story slide or catch a movie on the rooftop while enjoying incredible views of the city this summer at Ponce City Market.

The Roof at Ponce City reopened last month and now offers several things to do for those looking to get out of the house.

Bring the whole family to Summer Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Sunday through August 16. The Roof features carnival games, miniature golf, a craft station, balloon art and a bubble station. Hot dogs and funnel cakes are served all day. As day turns to night, local artists and bands take to the stage for some live music.

Wednesdays feature Movies on the Roof. Every Wednesday night through August 19, Ponce City hosts a classic film or new movie showing. It’s open to anyone with a 9 Mile Station reservation or an unlimited gameplay wristband. Food and drinks will be available to purchase.

Admission to the Roof at Ponce City Market is $10 for those aged 13 and over. Admission for kids from 3 to 12 costs $7.
