Looking to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this year? Here are some events happening in and around Atlanta. Please check event websites for safety protocols.
Celebrate the luck o’ the Irish at Johnny’s Hideaway with complimentary corned beef and cabbage from 6-7 p.m. The fun continues with free Irish shooters starting at 8 p.m. and some fun St. Paddy’s day swag.
Chef Nick Leahy has created a special prix fixe menu to celebrate. Enjoy pan roasted scallops, Guinness-braised short rib, dark chocolate brownie with Irish cream chantilly and beer pairings with each course.
Guests are invited to don their best green and jig to lively entertainment, including spirited Irish dance performances, tunes by DJ Chika Takai, traditional bagpipers and performances by Celtic band The Border Collies. There will be free giveaways, as well as stilt walkers and balloon artists onsite for the little lads and lassies to experience. At 4 p.m., a cash and card bar will be onsite, offering green brews and spirits. In addition, guests can enjoy St. Patrick’s Day-themed offerings from participating restaurants, including a corned beef and cabbage dish, green beer and Irish shot deals at HOBNOB.
Second Self is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with $3 pints of green beer and $10 pitchers of their year-round beers. Masks are required when moving around the tasting room and when ordering beer.
The community bar and restaurant will celebrate St. Patty’s Day with food specials – including a Corned Beef Plate with braised green cabbage and potatoes and Banger Sausages & Mash with brown gravy – plus $5 Irish drink specials on Jameson, Guinness and Black & Tans.
The creation includes a green chocolate-covered mug filled with coffee and vanilla ice cream, blended with Jameson Whiskey for an extra Irish kick. This insane milkshake is topped with whipped cream, sprinkles, chocolate gold coins (for good luck), rainbow sour belts and whirly pops. Offered in both an alcoholic and non-alcoholic version, it’s available at the Sugar Factory.
