Houston, TX -- (Sports Network) - Janel McCarville dropped in a layup with 17 ticks left in overtime to help give the New York Liberty a 90-87 victory over the Houston Comets.

McCarville finished with a team-high 33 points for the Liberty, who saw their two-game slide come to an end. Lisa Willis added 22 points and Cathrine Kraayeveld chipped in 11 in the win.

Tina Thompson had 34 points and seven rebounds for Houston, which has dropped three in a row. Matee Ajavon had 16 points off the bench and Mistie Williams 12 in defeat.
