Atlanta Families' Awards ten Atlanta Public School educators were surprised with grants from the Atlanta Families' Awards for Excellence in Education. Winners were chosen for their creativity, passion and integrity. Since it's inception in 2005, the Atlanta Families' Awards for Excellence in Education has donated more than $500,000 to teachers and principals in the Atlanta Public School System. Atlanta Mission Barbershop 73 years, that's how long the Atlanta Mission has been serving homeless metro Atlanta men, women and children. During that time of service, countless programs have been put in place to help change lives. Toshiba Palmer started the organization, Second Blessings Image Makeovers, more than 10 years ago.
