The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 4 AM CST Friday. * VISIBILITY...less than one half of a mile and near zero at times. * IMPACTS...hazardous travel due to very poor visibility. Motorists may encounter sudden decreases in visibility and should plan extra time for travel if heading out tonight or the early morning. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. && $$
