    Nelson's News covers the odd, entertaining and unique events happening in and around Atlanta.
    Nelson came to WSB-TV in 1999 as a weekend news editor. Three months later, he moved to the sports department where he was named the weekend sports producer and eventually, the weekday sports producer. In 2007, Nelson became the station's first Internet reporter/photographer. He currently covers stories across Georgia that appear exclusively on wsbtv.com. In addition to his work on wsbtv.com, Nelson appears on Hot Topics, a weekly entertainment show. Hot Topics airs in Atlanta on WSB-TV. It also airs in Orlando and Charlotte. Nelson can be seen on other Cox television station web sites across the country including wftv.com in Orlando, kirotv.com in Seattle, wpxi.com in Pittsburgh, ktvu.com in San Francisco and several others. Nelson currently is in charge of high school football for WSB-TV and wsbtv.com. Nelson worked for WGXA-TV in Macon and for Adelphia Communications in Cumming prior to joining WSB-TV.
