DULUTH, Ga -- Once just wasn't enough.Justin Timberlake returned to the Atlanta area Tuesday night, his second stop in the metro area in the last six months. He's in the middle of his FutureSex/LoveShow Tour. Timberlake played Philips Arena back in February. Tuesday night, he rocked a sold-out Arena at Gwinnett Center.Timberlake rose to stardom as the lead singer of 'N Sync in the late 90s. In 2002, he ventured out on his own, releasing his first solo album. It's been smooth sailing ever since.Tuesday night's performance came on the heels of good news for Timberlake.He and Beyonce led the pop parade of nominees for the MTV Video Music Awards with seven nods apiece. Timberlake's ambitiously cinematic "What Goes Around ...Comes Around," which co-starred Scarlett Johansson was nominated for video of the year. Also competing in the category are Amy Winehouse's "Rehab," Kanye West's "Stronger," Rihanna's "Umbrella" (featuring Jay-Z), Beyonce's "Irreplaceable" and Justice's "D.A.N.C.E."Timberlake was also nominated for male artist of the year and "most earth shattering collaboration" for pairing with Timbaland for "Sexy Back."Timberlake heads to the northeast from here. He's got shows coming up in Boston, New York and Canada. The tour wraps up dates in the United States at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sept. 19th.
