Student Critical After California School Shooting
A 16-year-old student is in a critical condition after a gunman opened fire with a shotgun at this school in California. Police say the shooter was a student at the Taft Union High School, and had reportedly had a disagreement with the victim. He fired a second shot before laying down the weapon. Sheriff Donny Youngblood praises staff members for reasoning with the gunman.
