Abandoned newborn found by Polish soldiers
Polish soldiers in southern Afghanistan made a shocking discovery: an abandoned newborn on the side of the road. The baby girl was taken to the base's medical center, where she was fed. The baby was named "Pola" after Poland. KOCO reports the soldiers bought the infant bottles, formula and bibs. NY Daily News reports that the little girl has already been adopted by a family struggling to conceive a child.
