A Global Valentine's Day Protest to End Violence Against Women
It's a global protest to end violence against women while celebrating their energy and power. In Istanbul, Turkey, women made up their faces in solidarity with their battered sisters. While in the Philippines, they marched in the streets. It's called One Billion Rising. The goal is for one billion women and the men who love them to walk out of work and dance in the streets on Valentine's Day.
