A 70-foot Georgia white pine arrived Sunday and will be transformed into the Atlanta skyline's crowning jewel, said a company spokeswoman.A crane lifted the tree atop the store’s roof as shoppers watched.The official lighting of Macy’s “Great Tree” will take place 7 p.m. Thanksgiving night in Macy's parking lot. You can see the lighting of the tree on WSB-TV Channel 2.The tree lighting event will include live entertainment and celebrity appearances to kick off the holiday season.
