Black, Paes Capture U.S. Open Mixed Doubles Title

Flushing Meadows, NY -- (Sports Network) - A fifth-seeded tandem of Zimbabwe's Cara Black and Indian Leander Paes captured the mixed doubles title at the 2008 U.S. Open.Black-Paes bested an unseeded pairing of American Liezel Huber and Brit Jamie Murray 7-6 (8-6), 6-4 in Thursday's finale at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The winning team will split $150,000.
