Fall 2009: Now - December: Green Market This year, the Piedmont Park Conservancy's Green Market boasts the most farmers in Green Market history. Come enjoy fresh, healthy food choices, chef demonstrations, and musical performances. The market is open from 9 AM until 1 PM every Saturday in Piedmont Park at the 12th Street Entrance. October 20, 2009: The Science of Drug Abuse on School and College Campuses Join the Drug Enforcement Administration and the University of GA College of Pharmacy for this one day confernce that will bring together presenters from the federal to the local level to discuss the problems of drugs on school and college campuses. Join in on the discussion, October 20th 8:30am - 4:30pm in the Georgia Center for Continuing Education. October 19th - 23rd is National Red Ribbon Week. October 21: Women For Hire Career Expo and Work From Home Event On Wednesday October 21 from 10 a.m. - 2p.m. attendees to this Career Expo can meet face-to-face with top employers for traditional openings and vendors from work-from-home companies. October 22 - 25: Southeastern Cowboy Festival and Symposium The Booth Western Art Museum presents the 7th Annual Southeastern Cowboy Festival and Symposium. The festival includes a Major Exhibition Opening, a Booth Birthday Party, a Black Tie Gala, and live performances. October 24: "Walk with Us to Cure Lupus" Walkathon Support your neighbors and fellow community members living with and affected by lupus on Saturday, October 24.
