A day full of events begins at 10 a.m. when guests can experience the Marietta parade from the theatre’s rooftop terrace. • Lasershow Spectacular at Stone Mountain Park

The ever-popular, 40-minute show features lasers projecting images on the mountain. Lavish fireworks and other effects are standard. Patriotic tunes like Elvis’ “An American Trilogy” and Sandi Patti’s “Star Spangled Banner” fit the season. The park tends to pack out on the Fourth, and remember only the East and West gates will be open.
