Ross Cavitt

Ross Cavitt has been chasing news since his first job in high school at a local radio station. He graduated from the University of Illinois-Urbana, and received his master's degree at the University of Illinois-Springfield.

A native of Normal, Illinois, Ross has worked at television stations in Illinois, Alabama, Florida and now at WSB.

At WSB's sister station in Florida, he covered the space shuttle program and anchored the weekend news.

Here at WSB, Ross has won two regional Emmy awards for spot news coverage, and an Associated Press award for covering Hurricane Hugo.

Ross lives in Marietta with his wife and two daughters.
