Rachel Stockman

Rachel Stockman joined the Channel 2 Action News team in July 2012. She is currently reporting for Channel 2 Action News This Morning. Originally from Connecticut, she is excited to call the Atlanta area her home.
 
Prior to joining Channel 2, Rachel reported for WCBS in New York and KPNX in Phoenix. While in Arizona, she covered the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, as well as the passage of SB1070, Arizona’s controversial immigration law.
 
Before Phoenix, Rachel spent time reporting, producing and anchoring at WGBA in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Her first broadcast job was as an intern at 60 Minutes. She is very thankful to the correspondents and producers there for pushing her to pursue a career in journalism.
 
Rachel earned a bachelor’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, and she holds a master’s degree in law from the Yale Law School.
