Jodie is an Emmy award winning investigative reporter who joined the Channel 2 Action News team in 2007. She primarily covers stories with an emphasis on government waste and corruption.

Many of the subjects featured in her stories were later indicted for racketeering.
In 2011, she was awarded five Southeast Regional Emmy’s including On-Camera Talent for Investigative Reporting. He work included uncovering numerous errors in Fulton County’s property values, and participation in WSB-TV’s coverage of several DeKalb County School System employees’ indictments. Jodie has also exposed 911 response problems in Fulton County, DeKalb County and the City of Atlanta, all of which led to improvements in service.
In 2009, Jodie was awarded an Emmy for specialty reporting on several investigative stories, including catching Atlanta sanitation workers wasting time on the job then billing taxpayers for overtime. She was also recognized for her role in WSB-TV’s coverage of the downtown Atlanta tornado aftermath.
Before coming to Georgia, Jodie worked at WFTV, our sister station in Orlando, Florida. She also worked at WSPA in Spartanburg and WLTX in Columbia, South Carolina. She has been honored by the Associated Press Broadcasters in all three states, for breaking news coverage, education, and investigative reporting.
