Erin Coleman

Erin Coleman anchors Channel 2 Action News at 4.

Erin previously anchored Channel 2 Action News at 6 and the Channel 2 Action News Nightbeat on weekends. She joined WSB-TV Channel 2 in October of 2009. Before moving to Atlanta, she worked for three and a half years as the weekend anchor/reporter at WRAL-TV in Raleigh, NC. Prior to her tenure at WRAL, Erin worked for several years at WFMY in Greensboro, NC. She started her career at KAIT in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Over the years, Erin has covered everything from hurricanes to politics, and notably securing a one-on-one interview with President Barack Obama during a campaign stop in North Carolina.

Erin is originally from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. She graduated from Brown University and has a Masters from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.Erin’s news philosophy is to represent an objective, yet engaged voice in reporting, and to articulate the needs of the viewing public.

She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and the Junior League. She currently resides in Cobb County.
