Tim Tebow, other SEC greats lend hand to Atlanta Boys and Girls Club

ATLANTA — In advance of Saturday's SEC Championship game, several former conference players took part in an Allstate All Hands In community event at the Joseph B. Whitehead Boys & Girls Club in Atlanta on Thursday.

More than 75 volunteers, including Georgia and Auburn fans, Allstate agents and Atlanta community members harvested and winterized a community garden to ensure that it is suited to continue to produce fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables throughout the cold-weather months.

The Georgia vs. Auburn game will be broadcast on radio by News 95.5 and AM 750 WSB.

Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow, former Georgia offensive lineman Matt Stinchcomb and former Auburn quarterback Jason Campbell were joined on-site by Georgia legends Jon Stinchcomb, Aaron Murray and David Greene to lend a hand.

The garden, which Alabama and Florida State fans came together to plant in September, is part of Allstate’s season-long program to encourage the community to come together and give back to future generations across the country by going All Hands In to celebrate the good happening both on and off the field.
