Lithonia is off to a 0-3 start, going through a rebuilding year, and struggling with injuries. Meanwhile, Grady has a 2-1 record.

"This is a big-time game for us," Lithonia coach Marcus Jelks told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Michael Carvell. "We're trying to win and we're trying to make a good showing on TV."

In the season-opening loss against South Atlanta, Lithonia quarterback Franco Turner was knocked out the game with a high ankle sprain. He was replaced by freshman Rashawn Sullivan the next two games (both losses), but is “definite” to return on Thursday.

“We’re a totally different offensive team with Turner on the field,” Jelks said. “There’s a lot more things we can do.”

Lithonia middle linebacker Devon Wallace is also expected to return after missing the last game with a concussion.
