Jones made a visit to the Georgia Capitol building Wednesday, where he revealed the name of what he and his wife, Taylor, will name their son.

A tweet by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution said Jones and his wife will name their son Cooper in honor of Jones being inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
Gov. Nathan Deal congratulated Jones on his induction and declared March 21 "Chipper Jones Day" in his honor.
