Did you hear what former NFL Head Coach Dennis Green said on his Sirius radio show? “I have a hard time believing that Michael Vick is not going to wind up with Bill Parcells, simply because he (Parcels) has that creativeness that says no matter what it takes, he's going to find a way to get Michael Vick.” Ummmmmmm. They do run that wild wildcat offense right?

Former Georgia Tech All-American Mark Teixeira, according to SI.com, will make $25,250,000 this year. Only $250,000 comes from endorsements. I guess if you have an agent who can get you 25-million a year, you could care less if .001 of your salary comes from endorsements. (Tiger Woods on the other hand, made 92-million off the golf course or 92% of his yearly earnings)

I’m thinking about changing my title from “Sports Anchor/Reporter” to “NBA draft king”. Last week in this column.. I wrote “ if Ty Lawson, the point guard from North Carolina is on the board, GM Rick Sund will grab him. Trust me. If Lawson is gone, look for the Hawks to grab Jeff Teague, the PG from Wake Forest.” Well, what do you know. Lawson goes #18 and with the 19th pick, the Hawks take.. you guessed it. Jeff Teague. Now for tonight’s lottery numbers. 17, 25, 45….

Is there anything better the soccer trash talk? In an excerpt from the book “The Beckham Experiment”.. Landon Donovan says of his LA Galaxy teammate He's not shown (he's a good team-mate)," he said. "I can't think of another guy where I'd say he wasn't a good team-mate, he didn't give everything through all this, he didn't still care. But with (Beckham), I'd say no, he wasn't committed.” Not exactly at the T.O. trash talk level, but anytime you take a shot at one of the most popular athletes on the planet, it’s entertaining.

Jason Kidd wants close to 10-million a year? Are you kidding me? He made 21-million last year and averaged 9 more points and 8 more assists per game then yours truly. He’s 36.. not 26.

Martin Prado deserves to start every day and it’s nice to see Bobby Cox reward his performance. He’s hitting .305 with 4 HR’s and 15 RBI in just over 50 games. That’s .89 points better and only 1 HR fewer then Kelly Johnson and he’s done it in almost 100 few at-bats.
