ATLANTA -- The NFL fined Atlanta Falcons coach Mike Smith $15,000 for his part in a sideline scuffle last Sunday, league sources told WSB-TV Channel 2 sports anchor Zach Klein. Redskins player DeAngelo Hall was not punished for his part in the confrontation.

Jeff Fish, the Falcons director of athletic performance, was fined $2,500 for getting involved in the fracas.

The league fined Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth $7,500 for coming to Hall's aid.

The NFL also fined Redskins safety LaRon Landry $5,000 for the late hit on Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan that sparked the pushing and shoving on the sideline.
