FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- It's hard to believe, but training camp for the Atlanta Falcons has arrived.

The first of 28 practices started Saturday at 8:30 a.m.

On Friday, players began arriving at the Falcons training facility in Flowery Branch. Quarterback Matt Ryan was among the first players to show up.

Channel 2 Action sports reporter Zach Klein was also there and said defensive end Chauncey Davis, quarterback Chris Redman, wide receiver Aaron Kelly, cornerback Christopher Owens, running back Jason Snelling and fullback Ovie Mughelli were also on hand.

Mughelli told Klein, "I am fresh and ready to go. They take care of us. You work hard and Coach Smith recognizes the effort. It's great.”

Mughelli said he will be living with Snelling and running back Michael Turner for the next four weeks.

"Turner snores at all hours of the night, but when you run for 1,700 yards and go to the Pro Bowl, you can do anything you want," said Mughelli.
