Falcons' Lawyer Milloy Arrested On DUI Charges

Milloy Booked Into Gwinnett County Jail At 4:35 a.m.

Atlanta Falcons safety Lawyer Milloy was arrested early Monday morning on DUI and speeding charges, according to the Gwinnett County Sheriff Office's Web site.

Milloy was booked into the Gwinnett County jail about 4:35 a.m. and released at 9:48 a.m. on $1,641 bond.

The Falcons lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 24-9, on Sunday and flew back to Atlanta late Sunday night.

  • Gwinnett County police spokeswoman Cpl. Illana T. Spellman said she did not have details on the arrest.

    Milloy lives in Buford in the northeast Atlanta suburbs. This is his third season with the Falcons and his 13th in the NFL.

    Falcons spokesman Reggie Roberts declined comment. He said Falcons head coach Mike Smith would comment on the arrest in a news conference later Monday.
