Race Ticket Giveaway
- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
- Eligibility. The WSB-TV Race Ticket Giveaway (the "Sweepstakes") is open to residents of the state of Georgia, 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of WSB-TV, Atlanta Motor Speedway and each of their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies, and other agents, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, such employees, are not eligible.
- Entry. The Sweepstakes will begin at 12:01 a.m. (E.S.T.) on February 18, 2008 and all entries must be received by 11:59 a.m. (E.S.T.) on March 3, 2008 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). To enter, log onto wsbtv.com, click on the Race Ticket Giveaway link and enter your personal information in the spaces provided and answer the question correctly. Maximum one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries and mass entries by means of software generated or other automated processes will be disregarded in the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or Sponsor. In the event of a dispute, all online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the ISP account from which they were sent. For these purposes, an ISP account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such ISP account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with such account. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted or the owner of an ISP account shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes.
- How to Play/Prizes/Odds. To enter, fill out all of the required personal information in the spaces provided and answer the questions correctly.
Four (4) winners will receive 2 tickets to the NASCAR Kobalt Tools 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday March 9, 2008 – Each prize Approximate Retail Value is $250.00.
Odds of winning are based on the number of eligible entries received by the drawing date. The drawing will take place February 27, 2008. Four (4) total drawings will be made, resulting in 4 different winners. Only one winner per household.
Winner Notification and Acceptance. Winner will be notified by telephone on or about February 27, 2008. Failure to reach winners by telephone at number provided (WSB may call only once) may result in disqualification, and selection of a substitute winner. Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are nonassignable and nontransferable. No substitutions allowed, except that prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability, and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Winners are responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes. Winners will be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law). Failure to sign and return the affidavit or release, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may at Sponsor's sole discretion result in a winner's disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to a substitute winner. Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes each winner's consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation. Prizes MUST be claimed at WSB-TV, 1601 W. Peachtree St. NE, Atlanta, GA 30309. Prizes not claimed in 30 thirty days will be forfeited by winner.
- Participation. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Sweepstakes judges, which shall be final in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes as solely determined by Sponsor. In the event the Sweepstakes is compromised by tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor, which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.
- Sponsor. The WSB-TV Race Ticket Giveaway is sponsored by WSB-TV and Atlanta Motor Speedway. WSB-TV will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Sweepstakes.
