Reed Passes Borders In New Poll; Norwood Extends Lead

ATLANTA -- Kasim Reed passed Lisa Borders in the latest poll to move into second place in the mayoral race, as Mary Norwood extended her first place lead.The WSB-TV Channel 2/InsiderAdvantage poll released Friday shows that Mary Norwood leads the race with 41 percent. Last week, Norwood was in first place with 39 percent.Reed is second in the new poll at 22 percent. Last week he was third with 17 percent.Borders slipped to third place in the new poll with 17 percent. Last week she was at 24 percent.Jesse Spikes is a distant fourth, polling 2 percent -- which is down from his previous 5 percent. Other candidates attracted 2 percent.Sixteen percent of those polled said they remain undecided.The margin of error was plus or minus 3.9 and 591 registered likely voters were polled.
