McCain's Lead In Georgia Was 18 Points

A new InsiderAdvantage/Poll Position survey shows that Sen. John McCain's lead over Sen. Barack Obama in Georgia has dwindled to six percentage points.

Fifty percent of likely voters in Georgia said they prefer McCain to 44 percent for Obama.

Two percent prefer other candidates and four percent are undecided.

  • The poll included 561 registered likely voters, weighted for age, race, gender and political party affiliation. It has a margin of error of +/- 4 percent.

    McCain held an 18 point lead over Obama in Georgia three weeks ago.
