Winning ticket worth $100K sold in Vienna

ATLANTA — A winning Georgia Lottery instant ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Vienna. Zippy #0002, located at 814 E. Union St. in Vienna, sold a Georgia Lottery Premium instant ticket with a $100,000 prize.

The winner, 33-year-old Faustino Ramirez of Vienna, claimed his prize Feb. 18 at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Tifton.

Georgia Lottery Premium is an instant ticket loaded with prizes of up to $1 million.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $15 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.6 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.3 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
