The homeowners told Channel 2 Action News reporter Ryan Young that they were in the living room when the tree toppled over and came through the roof.

“Stuff was just flying everywhere,” one of the homeowners said.

The home is located in the 3100 block of Kellogg Creek.

One of the homeowners received minor injuries.

“It happened so quickly. A board came down, hit me on my arm. It knocked me back and I couldn’t move,” she said.

“We’re lucky. We’re very lucky. Could have been so much worse,” the victim's husband said.
