GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Georgia Gwinnett College police arrested a mother they said locked her 6-year-old in a car on campus Thursday.
Crystal Franklin, 28, is charged with second-degree child cruelty.
An arrest warrant obtained by Channel 2 Action News states the child may have suffered hyperthermia due to the outside temperature of 90 degrees and the car being 'in direct sunlight.'
