Try this life saving tip before taking a child in a crowded place

A California police department shared some advice for parents before taking a child to a large, crowded place.

"Write your phone number on their wrist and cover it with liquid band-aid in case you get separated," the Clovis Police Department posted June 14 on Facebook.

Covering the ink with the liquid band-aid will keep it from washing off.

"Also, take a photo of them using your cell phone the morning of the event so you have their clothing, hair style, and up to date photo," the post continued.

The department first posted the tip in September before a large event in the city. The post was so popular they decided to share it again.
