‘Game of Thrones' final season to begin airing April 14

April 14 is the beginning of the end for "Game of Thrones."

Fans of the HBO fantasy drama show knew the eighth and  final season was to begin airing this spring, but the exact date was not released until Sunday, Reuters reported.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the final run will end on May 19, and will not skip any weeks.

The news came as the latest teaser trailer was released.

This time fans see Jon Snow, played by Kit Harington, Sansa Stark, played by Sophie Turner, and Arya Stark, played by Maisie Williams, walk past the crypts of their mother, and father before ending their journey in front of effigies of themselves. As they stand before their statues, the underground crypt starts to freeze, alluding to the White Walkers closing in on their home of Winterfell.
