Top 10 things to do this weekend

Friday

To all you riders, bike enthusiasts and Atlanta bicycle community, come participate in our 2nd Annual Atlanta Moon Ride, a 6.5 mile night bike ride through some of Atlanta's coolest neighborhoods.  This is a chance to safely cruise through Atlanta neighborhoods at night without having to battle traffic as our good friends with the APD will be blocking our route.  This event is open to anyone who wants to hit the streets, whether you've got a street bike, a mountain bike, a wheel chair or a good ole cruiser. Bring the family! Costumes are encouraged!

Stroll the streets and sample wines as you stop in and visit with our downtown merchants. This is an event that you don't want to miss. Tickets will be available for $20 in advance and $25 the day of the event.  Ticket sales are limited to 500.

Each year the event has grown exponentially.  New this year is a textile demonstration and a beer and wine garden with lavender beer!  Lavender food samples, kids’ zone, The Zen Zone (yoga & Pilates), live music and arts and crafts will be available.
Even though the NFL 2014 season doesn’t start for another 12 weeks, the Atlanta Falcons and the Mall of Georgia are already teaming up with fans, friends and families to celebrate the tradition of game day tailgating!  We are looking for the best Falcons spirit, game day traditions and, of course, for the irresistible and mouth-watering food. This event is free and open to the public! All proceeds will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
