DragonCon is the largest multi-media, popular culture convention, focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film in the universe!

LudaDay Weekend is an annual charity weekend committed to giving back to the Atlanta community through fundraising on behalf of The Ludacris Foundation. Each year NBA players and those in the music industry participate in the highly anticipated celebrity basketball game. It will be held at GSU Sports Arena on Sunday at 1 p.m.

This event includes a large gay community musical festival on Sunday in Piedmont Park.  There are also separate events for men and women.   The event celebrates a unifying force that provides the resources to promote and accomplish goals in human rights, education, outreach, and a better understanding within our community of people from ALL walks of life.

The 9th annual Decatur Book Festival in historic downtown Decatur square includes world-class authors, illustrators, editors, publishers, booksellers, and artists for a weekend filled with literature, music, food, art, and fun.

Stone Mountain Park celebrates working heroes with a laser show and fireworks for three nights at Stone Mountain Park.  Park goers can arrive early for a full day of adventure and enjoy all of Stone Mountain’s exciting attractions, including a 3-D/4-D adventure starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Vanessa Hudgens!

This festival offers a balloon glow, balloon flights, tethered rides, skydivers, a 5K, a classic car show and live music at Callaway Gardens.  In its 16th year, this family-friendly event also includes live music, beach activities, a Kids zone, and more!

IMF is a two-day dance music festival that features multiple stages hosting the world’s top musicians, DJs, and bands.  The festival is conveniently located in the Historic Old Fourth Ward Park & Masquerade Music Park.

Art in the Park has been a part of Marietta Square’s history since 1986.  This Marietta signature event and tradition celebrates the arts, featuring local and national artists from around the country.  Also included is an artist’s market, children’s art alley and the famous Painted Pots.

A ticket to this weekend block party includes admission to 15 bars, entertainment, and some free food and drinks.  A free catered dinner at East Andrews is from 6p-8p.

Join the fun at Atlanta’s Motor Speedway for the Biggest Labor Day Party in the USA!  Enjoy the Sprint Cup Series on a lighted track!
