Third suspect arrested in Cobb fatal shooting

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Police have captured a third suspect accused of fatally shooting a well-known father of six found outside his Kennesaw home.

Cobb County police caught Jalin Collins off Canton Road on Wednesday after an all-day search for the 18-year-old they considered "armed and dangerous."

The other two suspects, Percy Burdine, 29 and Brandon Love, 18, who both have criminal arrest records, were arrested overnight in connection with the slaying of 53-year-old Milton Kelley.

Kelley was found dead Saturday night in the driveway of his subdivision off Bells Ferry Road.

Since then, his children have been searching for answers in their father's slaying.

"The day I found out, honestly, that's when I hit the streets trying to find out information," Mikel Kelley told Channel 2's Ross Cavitt.

Meanwhile, police spent the afternoon interviewing Collins, as they hope their latest arrest will bring closure to the family and peace of mind to the victim's neighbors.

Kelley said his father would be proud of their efforts during this difficult time.

Police have not released a motive in the case.
