Turner Field turned into the Death Star Friday night as the Atlanta Braves hosted Star Wars night.
The event included a Chewbacca calling contest, Star Wars trivia, a character parade around the warning track, fireworks to Star Wars music and costumed characters throughout the park.
Nelson's News on wsbtv.com attended the event and caught some of the events.
Here are the finals of the Chewbacca Calling Contest. Judge for yourself.
After the contest, the Braves Heavy Hitters performed in the plaza. Take a listen.
After the game was over, the regular Friday night fireworks display was set to the sounds of Star Wars.
Tickets to the night also helped benefit Stand Up To Cancer, a movement created to raise funds to accelerate groundbreaking cancer research that will get new therapies to patients quickly and save lives.
